Student Spotlight – Peter Boettcher

Sunday, 13 November – Carlisle, MA – “The Pirates of Penzance” presented by the Savoyard Light Opera Company.

Another student triumph!

My student and friend, Peter Boettcher, brilliantly performed the role of Frederic in “The Pirates of Penzance” – the production was truly fun and elegant, the pit orchestra supportive and well conducted by Maestro Barry Singer.

This was the first time I’ve heard/seen Peter in a fully-staged performance. I cannot say how proud and happy I am with Peter’s success as Frederic. His diction and beautiful tenor resonance in this demanding role made him…and especially me…so proud.
