Read The Boston Wagner Society’s Interview with Mezzo-Soprano Janice Edwards

I’m so pleased with this wonderful interview on the Boston Wagner Society’s website. The Society’s president, Dalia Geffen, sent me excellent questions, inquiring about my first experience singing Wagner as well as my early career as a professional singer. I will be appearing on the Society ‘s upcoming concert, Mythology, Mysticism, and Masters, singing two scenes from Die Walküre.  The first is excerpts from Act I,  Scene III – Sieglinde and Siegmund’s discovery that they are, well, “related” and promptly fall in love.  I will be joined by my colleague, heldentenor Peter Furlong.

Later in the first half, I will switch gears and sing Fricka in Act II, Scene, I, joined by the renowned baritone Alan Held singing the long-suffering Wotan.
